Mind-Altering Silence: A Week of Willpower
Challenge Yourself to Reflect, Grow, and Strengthen Your Mind.
Hi MBS Family,
Ready to crush another week? Let’s dive into some challenges, insights, and inspiration to help you grow stronger in mind, body, and soul. We’ve got some cool stuff lined up, so grab a coffee (or a protein shake) and let’s get started!
“Don’t wish it was easier, wish you were better. Don’t wish for fewer problems, wish for more skills. Don’t wish for less challenge, wish for more wisdom.”
Because sometimes, all we need is a few wise words to light the fire within us.
This Week’s Challenge: 3 Hours of Silence
MBS: Mind | Body | Soul
Difficulty: 3
Duration: 1 Day (3 Hours)
Why It Matters:
This week, we’re tackling 3 Hours of Silence. To join, you need to sit in a quiet room for 3 hours—no talking, walking around, or looking at your phone. It’s also good not to check the time; the sole focus is to listen to your mind. It will show you what you need to work through. Whether you’re looking to create more self-awareness, lower your stress level, or get away from tech, this challenge is designed to push your limits and help you break through to the next level. Are you up for it? Let’s do this together! #45MBSChallenge
Learning from the Challenge: Patience
What You’ll Gain:
As you take on this challenge: Let your mind guide you. If a thought comes up, follow it until it’s done; continue like this until the end of the exercise. You will learn patience in this challenge. This is more than just a physical or mental exercise—it’s a chance to reflect on your life and work on those internal issues we never have time for. Let’s grow stronger and wiser, one challenge at a time.

Reflections on Last Week: 3-Day Water Fast
My Experience:
Last week’s challenge was all about fasting, and let me tell you, it’s a mental and physical battle. Here’s how it went for me: The first day and a half was easier than I thought; however, the evening of day two was very hard. This is where I would have failed if I had given in to my temptations. When temptation hits me like this, I try to take it step by step—just get through the next 5 minutes and so on. Day 3 was alright until about an hour before the fast was done; those last minutes felt like a lifetime, and I could not wait to eat something. I rewarded myself with some Nando’s chicken 😊. It wasn’t easy, but knowing I did it was worth it.
What did I learn? Even though I knew I wouldn’t die from this, almost 99% of people asked me why I would go through with this—just eat something. It shows you how easy it is to give up. Sometimes you must face challenges alone in this world, and that’s okay too. We don’t do this for others but to make ourselves better so we can be better.
